The cowls on Bell 1 were recently entirely refurbished and repaired. The next phase involved a similar process with the removal of the cowls on Bell 2, which were repaired and refurbished by specialist contractors, Dude and Arnette.
This was then followed by the refurbishment of another set on site, above what's known as The Magic Castle. View a selection of images if the works in the gallery below.
The Hop Farm features the world's largest collection of Victorian oast houses, and the biggest oast house in the world! These are cherished, listed buildings which require much maintenance and upkeep to secure their iconic look for generations to come.

The extensive maintenance programme is a constant cycle which The Hop Farm undertakes, with complex and costly works which can only be done by specialists.
